Household Relocation Moving Season: This is a reminder that April through September is peak household‑moving season. When departments coordinate relocation moves for new faculty or staff, they should be advised to contact our preferred vendor representatives directly to schedule a survey and obtain quotes prior to submitting a purchase order for the shipper. Surveys and quotes should be arranged no less than six weeks in advance. Please also share the Best Practices When Moving Household Goods link with the shipper when providing moving instructions.

- Lab Gas and Tank Pick Up Process – New Order Request Interface: On September 1, 2026, we will be introducing a new interface for ordering lab gas tanks. This upgraded page will have a new look and data interface. But, these changes are intuitive and easy to navigate. This change will improve the customer service experience and not affect delivery timeframes. The new interface will introduce enhanced reporting and the ability for PPS to validate chartstrings entered by end users. The results will be a more efficient process to better manage this program. Training materials will be available on the lab gas web page soon to help facilitate this change.
