Âé¶¹´«Ã½ offers a wide variety of academic programs, including many degree programs, certifications, and non-credit options. Use the glossary below to learn more about these program and certification types.

Certificate

Program is a structured, specialized training sequence designed to help individuals gain domain specific knowledge, targeted competencies, or credentials for career advancement or personal development; these programs are open to those holding a high school diploma or equivalency (or higher).

CLE (Continuing Legal Education) Credit

CLE credits can be earned through Âé¶¹´«Ã½ Law professional development programs. It is available for participants in most states that have mandatory CLE requirements. Âé¶¹´«Ã½ Law will apply for accreditation in most states.

CME (Continuing Medical Education) Credit

CME credits can be earned through Âé¶¹´«Ã½ Feinberg School of Medicine professional development programs.

Graduate Certificate Programs

Earned by completing graduate-level courses for academic credit; open to qualified applicants who meet admission requirements.

Non-Credit Certificate

A Non-Credit Certificate program is a structured, specialized training sequence designed to help professionals gain domain specific knowledge, targeted competencies, or credentials for career advancement or personal development; these programs are open to participants of all backgrounds - no prior degree required.

Post-Baccalaureate Certificate

A Post-Baccalaureate Certificate program is a structured, specialized training sequence designed to help professionals gain domain specific knowledge, targeted competencies, or credentials for career advancement or personal development; these programs are open to those holding a bachelor’s degree (or higher).

Short Course Programs

Earned by completing graduate-level courses for academic credit; open to qualified applicants who meet admission requirements.

TGS Certificate Programs

Earned by completing graduate-level courses for academic credit; open exclusively to currently enrolled TGS students.
