Graduation Weekend Ticketing Opens April 1

Eligible students can log in and order tickets for their guests beginning April 1. All graduating students will receive instructions via email. For information about the ceremonies and the number of tickets available, visit the graduation ticketing page

Block Museum

Afternoon at the Block: 4/10

Join Student Transition Experiences at the Block Museum on Friday, April 10 from 1:00-2:30 p.m. for a Student Ambassador guided tour exploring exhibits focused on labor and consumerism, the consequences of the 2015 Gold King Mine Spill and Muslim portraiture in Mali. The visit will conclude with treats, discussion and information about the Block’s Student Associate program.

Passover Dining

Students celebrating Passover can use their NU Dining meal plans at Âé¶¹´«Ã½ Hillel. More information about Passover meals can be found on the . Kosher stations at Elder and Allison Dining Halls will be closed 4/1-4/9 and will reopen for normal service on 4/10.

Cafe MCC

Indiana Dunes National Park Day Hike

May 9, 9:00 AM-6:00 PM

Lace up your shoes and hit the trail with us! Join us Saturday, May 9, for a beginner-friendly day hike at Indiana Dunes National Park. Enjoy scenic overlooks and diverse ecosystems, all while learning about the area. Bus transportation, snacks, and lunch are included.


Hop Around Evanston

Every Saturday April 4-June 20, 6:00-9:00 PM

Hop Around Evanston is a free community bus tour designed to connect residents and visitors with Evanston’s vibrant downtown and neighborhood business districts. Red Watch Band Alcohol Bystander Intervention Trainings

April 7, 6:30-8:00 PM, Harris Hall L07

This training will provide you with the knowledge and skills needed to identify, prevent and intervene effectively in an alcohol-related medical emergency. You’ll also learn about how alcohol affects our physiology and behavior, signs and symptoms of alcohol poisoning and the truth behind common alcohol-related myths.


Policy in Action

April 12

Be a Policy in Action leader! In this 5 week program, you’ll learn how policy is developed, passed, and enacted from state and local leaders. Through guest speakers, discussion, and a trip to the Illinois General Assembly in Springfield, you’ll experience the political process, policymaking, and learn about public governance.


Strategic Storytelling: Nonfiction & Narrative | Sexual Assault Action Month

April 7, 7:00-8:30 PM, Women's Center Evanston

For many survivors of interpersonal violence, telling their story can be a crucial part of the healing journey. This workshop explores the ways that survivors explore their experiences through nonfiction writing, offer prompts for reflection and self-compassion, & discuss how survivors can maintain their well-being when sharing their stories. .


Searle Open House

Celebrate your wellness this Spring and come by the . Learn about the different services available at Âé¶¹´«Ã½ Medicine Student Health Service, Counseling and Psychological Services, and the Center for Student Advocacy and Wellness. We will have give aways from Rare Beauty for the first 30 people who attend and will also have activities and giveaways from the different offices in the building. All activities will be located on the 3rd floor. Please stop on in and make your wellness a priority.


Luxury Floating Sound Journey by Stillwater Symphony

Grass Gossip: Cannabis Harm Reduction

April 20, 6:00-7:00 PM, Searle Hall 

This is a harm-reduction focused education program on cannabis products. The primary program goal is to educate and inform about the effects, risks, and legal implications associated with cannabis use. By creating a safe space for open dialogue and discussion, we aim to empower students to make informed decisions regarding their use of cannabis.


The Power of the Pen: Fiction Workshop

April 21, 7:00-8:00 PM, Women's Center

This workshop will explore the ways survivors can use fiction writing to process their experiences and pursue healing. It will offer insights on how to pull from fact for the purposes of fiction writing and hold space for reflection and free writing. .


Queer Survivor Group

April 23-May 28, 5:00 PM

CSAW’s Queer Survivor Group is a six-week group open to all Âé¶¹´«Ã½ students who identify as queer and as survivors of interpersonal violence. The group will offer a queer-affirming space for members to process harmful experiences, connect with fellow queer survivors, and gain skills and frameworks for healing. .


CSAW's Alcohol, Cannabis and Other Drugs Consultations

The Center for Student Advocacy and wellness offer Alcohol, Cannabis and Other Drug consultations for students who are interested in exploring more about their use of substances. If you have questions or want to learn more about harm reduction in a confidential one on one setting with a health educator from CSAW. !


Wellness Coaching

Wellness Coaching is a collaborative, non-judgmental process to help you identify and achieve your health and wellness goals related to: physical activity, sleep, healthy eating, time management, and stress management/coping skills. Sessions are one-on-one, confidential, and free for all Âé¶¹´«Ã½ students.


Wildcats in Recovery - NU's Collegiate Recovery Community!

The Center for Student Advocacy and Wellness (CSAW) presents "Wildcats in Recovery" - a Collegiate Recovery Program (CRP) that supports students in recovery from substance use disorders, process addictions, and eating disorders. We aim to bring students together and provide them with the necessary resources to excel here at Âé¶¹´«Ã½!


Last Chance for Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction Spring Cohort

Build stress hardiness this spring with Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), an eight-week, evidence-based course that teaches practical tools like meditation, gentle movement, and body awareness to help you manage anxiety, stress, and daily pressures. MBSR has helped participants strengthen focus, emotional balance, and overall well-being. More Information Here.


ResilientNU - Spring Cohort Registration

ResilientNU is your crash course on increasing wellness, managing stress, and finding balance. Created by a group of students and staff, this program hosts small group cohorts for 5 weeks. Our goal is for you to leave this program with research-backed strategies to help you grow towards a healthier and more resilient you. Starts April 14th!  .

Spring into a better you this quarter by joining the Holistic Wellness & Mindfulness List-serv for weekly messages and updates about upcoming programs and opportunities.


Spiritual Guidance

Spiritual Guidance is a one-on-one space to explore life’s big questions of meaning, purpose, identity, or whatever’s on your mind. It’s open to all backgrounds whether you are religious or not. Sessions last about 45 minutes, once a month, and may include conversation, silence, and reflection. Learn more and schedule a preliminary session.


 

Thriving Off-Campus - Guide to Independence, Budgeting and Success

Join US Bank, the Off-Campus Life office, and Residential Services to learn practical strategies for managing your finances, creating a realistic budget, and building habits that will support your success as you prepare to move off campus! April is Sexual Assault Action Month

The 2026 theme for Sexual Assault Action Month is Heal Out Loud. Programming will focus on co-creating spaces where all people impacted by sexual harm can creatively express themselves, take ownership of their stories, and show up authentically as they heal. The first event, Clothesline Project Art-Making Space, takes place Thursday at 4:30 p.m. in the GSRC.
