The Office of Civil Rights and Title IX Compliance (OCR) works with faculty, staff, and job applicants with disabilities to provide reasonable accommodations. OCR also reviews accessibility issues reported by the Âé¶¹´«Ã½ community and visitors.

Apply Standards to Your Work

For Staff

For Course Instructors

Providing multiple ways for students to learn course material and interact with course content is extremely important to accommodate all students who are taking a class, especially those with disabilities.

Course Design

Instructors can familiarize themselves with strategies to implement for accessible course design. The goal is to provide information to instructors who may not know much about working with people who have disabilities.

UDOIT

The Universal Design Online Content Inspection Tool, or UDOIT (pronounced, "You Do It"), enables faculty to identify accessibility issues in their Canvas course.
