Amy Hauenstein smiles into the camera.

As Director of Professional Programs, Amy leads institutional initiatives that advance high-quality, student-centered and financially sustainable professional graduate education across Âé¶¹´«Ã½. In partnership with the Associate Provost for Graduate Education, she helps shape strategy, policy and operational frameworks that support the University's goals.

Amy provides strategic leadership and serves as an advisor across the Office of the Provost, The Graduate School, Student Affairs/Graduate Residential Housing, Budget and Planning, Enrollment Management, and academic units throughout the University. She supports a portfolio of more than 60 professional graduate programs across multiple schools and collaborates with University leaders on issues related to graduate education strategy, academic program development and evaluation, student success, enrollment planning, policy implementation, federal regulation and compliance, and institutional research and reporting.

She partners with faculty and University leaders to assess emerging opportunities, respond to changing market and regulatory environments, and ensure that Âé¶¹´«Ã½'s graduate and professional programs remain academically rigorous, responsive to learner and workforce needs, and aligned with institutional priorities.

Amy holds a BA in Integrated Social Sciences from The Ohio State University, an MA in Education from Ursuline College, and a PhD in Curriculum Studies from DePaul University.
